All Yearn mirrors purchased directly from yearn.co.uk are covered by our 3-year quality guarantee.
Our warranty is limited and covers any form of silvering defect on the mirror glass. Defects in the silver reflective coating arising from manufacturing.
Period: 3 years from date of purchase
Start Trigger: Date shown on the original proof of purchase (receipt or invoice)
Disclaimer: If a mirror is replaced under warranty, the new mirror carries the remainder of the original warranty period. Warranty is valid only while the original purchaser owns the mirror. Warranty is non-transferable.

Peeling/Poor Adhesion: Silver mirror Coating separates from substrate causing flaking and loss of reflective performance on the glass.
Tarnishing/Oxidation: Silver reacts with sulphur or oxygen causing yellowing, darkening, reduced reflectivity in the mirror glass
Blistering/Bubbling: Raised areas or bubbles/seeds under the coating behind the glass causing distorted reflections.
Streaks: Uneven coating distribution causing visible streaks and inconsistent reflectivity.
Mechanical Damage: Physical damage to the coating causing permanent visible optical defects that sit behind/on the back of/under the surface of the glass.
Cloudiness/Haze: Loss of clarity in reflection causing a diffused reflection instead of a sharp image.
Delamination between Layers: Separation between silver and protective coatings causing progressive degradation of coating.
Corrosion Spots (Black Spots): Localized dark areas causing permanent reflectivity loss.
Edge Degradation (Black Edge):Black corrosion starting from edges gradually corroding inwards.
Defects shall be deemed valid only if they occur under normal use conditions and are not attributable to exernal factors (see exclusions)
We are unable to accept warranty claims for any of the reasons set out below.
Suitability: Yearn Mirrors are not designed or manufactured for bathroom/wet room settings. Yearn Mirrors are only suitable for interior settings. Our mirrors cannot be used externally or in damp settings. Where one of our products has been used in these settings any claim would be considered void.
Moisture/Water Exposure: Persistent high humidity and condensation build up caused by improper use. (see suitability)
Black Edge or Spots: Caused by excessive moisture, steam, condensation as a result of improper use. (see suitability)
Chemical Exposure: Use of harsh cleaners (ammonia-based or acidic solutions). Contact with industrial fumes or cleaning agents. Splashing of chemicals onto mirror edges or backing.
Physical Damage: Scratches, abrasion or impact. Damage during handling, transport or installation. Glass breakage, chips, broken frame.
Wear and Tear: Any form of scuff, mark, dent, scratch on the frame or the glass. Normal wear and tear.
Environmental Conditions: Extreme temperatures or rapid temperature changes. Damage from acts of God, flooding or abnormal enviornmental conditions.
Failure of care: Degradation due to poor maintenance. Damage to frame including accidental damage. Modifications such as repairs that have been carried out by a third party.
Improper Storage: Storing in damp or unventilated conditions.
What we will do when a claim is made. Our sole and exclusive remedies are set out below.
Primary Remedy: Replacement with the same product or an equivalent mirror of your choice. Any shortfalls will be provided in the form of a store credit.
Alternative: 150% store credit.
labour, removal and reinstallation costs are excluded from warranty.

This warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
This warranty is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable legislation. You may have additional rights under law which vary depending on your country of residence.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Yearn excludes all implied warranties, representations, and conditions not expressly set out in this warranty. For consumers in the United Kingdom, nothing in this warranty limits or excludes rights that cannot be waived under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
This warranty constitutes the entire agreement between Yearn and the purchaser with respect to the warranty coverage of the product. It supersedes all prior representations, statements, or understandings whether written or oral made by any employee, agent, or distributor of Yearn. No employee or representative of Yearn has authority to modify the terms of this warranty.
If any provision of this warranty is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. The validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
Yearn reserves the right to amend these warranty terms at any time. Any such changes will apply only to products purchased after the date of amendment. The terms in force at the time of your purchase will always apply to your product.
Yearn's liability under this warranty is limited solely to repair, replacement, or store credit. Where a valid warranty claim is made within six (6) months of the original date of purchase, and repair or replacement is not possible or has not been completed within a reasonable time, Yearn will provide a full monetary refund as required by applicable law. For valid claims made after six (6) months from the date of purchase, Yearn's liability is limited to repair, replacement, or store credit at Yearn's discretion.
In all cases, Yearn shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special losses or damages arising in connection with your mirror, including but not limited to loss of use, cost of removal, reinstallation costs, or damage to surrounding property.
Nothing in this clause limits or excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable law.
